Hi everyone and welcome to the Scared Cree social media page for my new YouTube and podcast my name is Joyce and I am your host. I wanted to do a little introduction on both me and what the channel will be covering.
I am an indigenous storyteller from Maskwacis in Alberta Canada, I grew up hearing a lot of stories, legends and folklore which were kinda, sometimes creepy and terrifying and I became fascinated with them and wanted to share them, so they don't get lost in time and that l'm able to pass these stories down to the younger generations, and other people who find them interesting. I do my research on stories that I haven't heard about from other tribes while I try to reconnect with my culture, due to colonization. I also wanted to cover many other topics including True Crime, unsolved mysteries and missing person cases within the aboriginal community to raise awareness for their loved ones, and to find out what really happened.
