The family of Ivan Baidoo, a Level 200 law student of Central University, is appealing to the public for information following his death in an alleged hit-and-run accident on the Tema Motorway.

Ivan was reportedly knocked down by a vehicle on August 27, 2026. The driver allegedly fled the scene after the incident, leaving him behind.

Following his death, the family is offering a GH¢50,000 reward for credible information that leads to the arrest and successful prosecution of the alleged culprit or culprits.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about the vehicle, driver, or circumstances surrounding the accident is urged to come forward.

🚨 SAD NEWS: Davido’s Friend, 43-Year-Old Nigerian Influencer, Dies After Pen.is Enlargement Procedure In Thailand

Nigerian businessman and UK-based influencer Dennis Ubiribo, popularly known as “Tiny” or “Ego,” and reportedly a friend of Nigerian music star Davido, has died at the age of 43 following a cosmetic p***s enlargement procedure in Thailand.

According to evidence presented at the Inner West London Coroners’ Court, Ubiribo had 40ml of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine injected into his p***s at an unnamed clinic in Thailand.

Days after the procedure, he reportedly collapsed while out for the day and was rushed to hospital, where he was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism.

An autopsy conducted after his body was repatriated to the UK reportedly found cellular material in his lungs matching the hyaluronic acid used during the procedure.

The circumstances surrounding his death have since been examined at a London inquest.

A senior high school teacher with 25 years of service under the Ghana Education Service (GES) says he still cannot boast of having GH¢25,000 in his bank account.

The teacher made the disclosure during an interview with Atinka TV journalist Nana Yaw Fianko, popularly known as “Speaker,” during a discussion on teacher welfare.

He said the situation has left him disappointed, particularly after dedicating a quarter of a century to the teaching profession.

His comments have renewed discussions about the financial challenges facing teachers and whether their salaries and working conditions adequately reflect their years of service.

The issue has also sparked criticism of teacher unions, including GNAT and NAGRAT, over their handling of concerns affecting teachers.

JUST IN: 51-Year-Old Suspected Drug Dealer And His 42-Year-Old Wife Arr£sted With Cannabis, Tramadol And Firearm In Accra

A 51-year-old man, Jibreel Hardi, and his 42-year-old wife, Abiba Fatawu, have been arr£sted by the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) for allegedly supplying illicit drugs in parts of Accra.

The couple were arrested on Thursday, September 3, 2026, during an intelligence-led operation conducted by NACOC in collaboration with National Security operatives.

According to Sources, Hardi was intercepted at Weija in the Ga South Municipality at about 11:00 a.m. while allegedly on his way to meet a suspected buyer.

A search of his vehicle reportedly led to the discovery of quantities of dried leaves suspected to be cannabis, as well as packets of Tramadol.

NACOC officers subsequently searched his residence, where they allegedly retrieved additional quantities of suspected cannabis and Tramadol, together with a firearm and 50 rounds of 9mm ammunition.

His wife, Abiba Fatawu, was also arrested at the residence for allegedly being an accomplice and collaborator in the suspected drug-related activities.

The allegations are yet to be proven in court, and the suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
