Whatever you wish to call it, when you come "In My House" be prepared to be schooled about the ins and outs of house/techno music. I am not a producer, deejay, or an artist , therefore, they will be the one's to educate a

nd entertain you. You are invited to experience the 'Masters' of this craft as they come "In My House" ..Be prepared to dance...

This show is also dedicated to the memory of Derek Jamerson, Sr - who is gone but will never be forgotten. Also, to our grandchildren: Kaci, Kali, Karli, Zakai and Zamiah Jamerson

On this episode of Ask The Messengers, we take you Around Town for a night of pure Detroit elegance.

Our friend and style icon Chuck Bennett hosted a private celebration for the highly anticipated musical stage play "One Harlem Night", which premiered the following evening in Detroit. The event brought together class, fashion, and star power — the kind of affair only Chuck can deliver.

We caught up with Christopher Williams and several of the talented cast members who lit up the stage, including Pooch Hall, Lamman Rucker, Darrin Henson, Jamal Woolard, Avery Wilson, and Michael Colyar — all celebrating the spirit of Harlem Nights, Detroit-style.

As always, we salute Chuck Bennett and his planning team for continuing to bring style, sophistication, and spotlight moments to our city. He’s no stranger to our show — and we’re honored to have been part of another unforgettable Detroit experience.

This documentary is a celebration of Detroit’s musical legacy and Black creativity — it amplifies the stories of the people that started this music genre we love: Techno! This film was made with support from so many people and organizations worldwide, we’re sending our deepest gratitude to everyone who has shown us support on our journey. It takes a village to bring an independent film like this to the masses!

After 3 years of film festival screenings, GSGEDM was selected for the FilmStream Collective by x which now provides distribution opportunities for projects like ours! To watch, just search “God Said Give ‘Em Drum Machines” on Tubi or hit the link in our bio.

Thank you to everyone who helped us reach our initial crowdfunding goal. There are still 15 days left to back the Detroit Techno Documentary on Kickstarter. Your pledges will help us reach our stretch goals of putting Detroit’s story on even more screens across the world, and launching the foundation of an independent digital archive, dedicated to preserving Detroit’s dance music history, raw ephemera, and powerful untold stories.
