Cast announcement! We're thrilled to announce that Kristian Smith will be playing the role of Eddie in 'It's all about Sam'.

"I'm an actor based in South Staffordshire. I've always loved films growing up and found myself to be really good at memorising lines so I decided to take drama in school and here we are now. I have recently featured in the short film Burger Van Man where I played 'Officer Douglas', alongside comedians Nick Helm and Mark Silcox .

In "It's all about Sam " I play the character of Eddie, Charlie's older brother. I am excited to be part of this film because it is almost like a modern era Romeo and Juliet with a twist. It will be a really good watch."

Cast announcement! We're thrilled to announce that Karen Elizabeth Bucknall will be playing the role of Karen in 'It's all about Sam'.

"I play Karen, mother to Charlie. I am an actress/ model/ stand up comedian and performance poet. I am looking forward to being in 'It's all about Sam', for I love the script, it is very well written and covers sensitive subjects. I like the element of 'Romeo and Juilet' in the film, for I am an avid fan of William Shakespeare and his works. I strongly support and empathetic to the LGBTQ+ community. My previous acting roles have been in Birmingham and Walsall, tackling difficult situations and two of them had an LGBTQ+ theme running through the story-line. I am very excited to be working with Liam and the other cast members.

"I'm thrilled to be taking on the role of Sam. What excites me most about this project is the opportunity to reimagine a classic love story through a q***r lens. It's incredibly important to share q***r voices and experiences, and I'm eager to bring Sam's unique story to life. Before this I’ve had the opportunity to play a variety of characters from a lead in an upcoming feature film and the role of Liam in the London Independent Film Awards award winning short film ‘Mimph’. I hope you love ‘It’s All About Sam’ as much as I do!"
