Is the hot weather driving you poolside? Check out this Woodcliff Lake pool, designed by and originally featured in our sister magazine . Project facilitator Brian Parks was given a challenge with this project: turn a difficult yard with steep elevation changes into an entertaining and leisure hotspot. By using terraces to create a more usable and level space, the backyard was transformed with a pool, a cabana, lush landscaping and more.

Heading down to the Shore for Independence Day? We have the perfect beach house inspiration. This Long Beach Island home, designed by , effortlessly combines coastal vibes and a luxe sensibility into the perfect oasis. In the kitchen, mother-of-pearl pendant lights join together with blue tiles and sand-colored chairs for an indoor ode to the beach.

The backsplash behind a kitchen’s range or sink is the perfect spot for a little extra personality, glamor and visual interest. In this Closter kitchen, designed by Aprana Vijayan of ulrichinc, the hand-painted Carrara tiles behind the range add the perfect touch of fun and whimsy—and a nod to homeowners’ culture, as this family blends Filipino, Syrian and Eastern European heritage.

Over in West Milford, the homeowner’s vision for her dream kitchen was something neutral and white yet organic and natural. Taylor Sassaman of suggested porcelain for the countertops, and the homeowner fell in love with this Macchia Vecchia option with bold veining. It was the perfect choice, according to Sassaman, truly bringing life to the space.
