In a groundbreaking moment for the Western performance horse world, Crosby Ray Von, a stunning 3-year-old blue roan mare affectionately known as “Bella”, sold for a record-shattering $1.7 million at the Old West Rope Horse Futurity Sale — setting a new benchmark for public auction prices in the team roping industry.

Bred from championship lineage, Bella is sired by the legendary Stevie Rey Von (LTE $421,000+) and out of MA Crosby, a daughter of Valiant Hero. She has been expertly developed by elite horsemen Trevor Brazile and Miles Baker as part of the Relentless Remuda and Solo Select partnership.

The high-profile buyers, Allan and Melessa Jones of Cracklin J Ranch in Texas, secured Crosby Ray Von as the cornerstone of their premier breeding and competition program. The Joneses have confirmed that Relentless Remuda will continue to manage Bella’s show career, ensuring consistency in her training, performance, and future success.

“She represents everything we’re building toward — talent, pedigree, and a serious future in the rope horse industry,” said Allan Jones.

With a $1 million futurity bonus on the line for 4-year-old competitors, Bella is poised not only to compete, but to make history again in the arena.
