TGIF! THIS FRIDAY
Why Chief Minister PS Golay speaks a football language with the masses?

Whether it's the Sikkim Premier League or the biggest of them all, the Sikkim Assembly elections, the Sikkimese electorate openly talks and lives football and politics.
What could be more effective, then, than employing football terminology in political speeches to package and appeal to the general public with your political programs?
Chief Minister PS Golay, also the Team SKM captain, has firmly grasped this pulse of the people. Perhaps it stems from his early formative political years as a much-loved Sports minister. His public speeches are garnished with the footballing way of life, as he tells TGIF!, he always strives to reach out to the people in simple terms.
In an EXCLUSIVE interview with TGIF!, the Chief Minister gives an elaboration of his political colloquialism using footballing parlance and narrative to our readers.
