Due for release Sepetember 19th announces Unerthed: Hole Erth Unplugged a reimagination of the acclaimed 2024 album Hole Erth, with songs rearranged for guitar, piano, drums, and strings.

The first single from the record “CD-R (unerthed).” Is out now.

“The idea to begin this project came while listening to Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged record. I love how the rearrangement brought out so many intricacies of their songwriting and gave context to the original recordings and the decisions made… Americana has always been a major theme in my music. “I love falling under the spell of a side quest. This one started when I heard an emotive piano cover of a Top 40 hit—rendered almost unrecognizable—and led me down the path of this style of music—its quiet extremity, and all that it had to teach me.”

“Along the way, I wondered if my songs would ever make it into the hands of a “relaxing piano” alias bot, and I was reminded of how impossible it is for me to be anything but human. I fell back in love with the CDs and cassettes of my childhood—stacks of nature sound compilations set to piano, saxophone, and string quartet.”

The Perpetual Emotion continues on with its latest output “E After the Next” - a staple of recent live sets. This track is a repurposing of Moby’s 1992 track “Next Is the E” from his self-titled debut album.
