Our first dinner meal had to be a true traditional Nigerian meal with the beautiful locals. Pounded yam with Egusi soup and with our choice of meats.

This was sooo good I can’t really explain it. It had spice, flavor and comfort. Not only were we taught how to eat the pounded yam but we were also taught how to play a fun African board game called Mancala.

One more impromptu stop before we call it a night. Team no sleep when in the motherland! 😂🤏🏾
