TDOT contract crews will implement lane closures on South Jefferson Avenue in both directions near the I-40 interchange beginning Wednesday, August 13, and continuing through October 31.

Water services have been fully restored at Fall Creek Falls State Park. All facilities, including the cabins, campground, lodge, public restrooms, bathhouses, and restaurant, have reopened and are operating as normal.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we worked through the water supply issue that affected both the park and the surrounding community. Your cooperation was essential as we monitored and adjusted water usage, allowing us to resume normal operations as quickly as possible.

A frequently asked question is whether the Mountaineer Folk Festival will still take place. Yes, we are excited to confirm that the festival is scheduled for September 5-7. Stay connected with us on our social media channels for further updates and information.

The Family Resource Center's Food Pantry will be open this Friday, August 15th from 1:00-2:30pm. This service is available for families of White County students. Find us at the back of the Board of Education building at 576 Hale St. and look for the Family Resource Center sign.
