Last night’s football practice ended with something far more important than the game itself. The coaches gathered the boys together and closed with prayer.

With so much heartbreak in the world right now—the tragic loss of Charlie Kirk for standing firm in his beliefs, the murder of a Ukrainian refugee who came here seeking peace, and the devastating school shootings that continue to steal innocent lives—our hearts are heavy. But in that moment on the field, the weight of the world lifted.

Those boys bowed their heads, prayed together, and found peace. It was a reminder that what they’re learning is so much bigger than football. Far more than the games they will play, these boys are being taught faith, hope, unity, and where true strength comes from.
