Out of Our Minds Studios was approached by director to create a title sequence for his latest blood, sweat, and soap soaked film The Clean Up Crew. Starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Melissa Leo, and Antonio Banderas, the film starts in a traditional crime heist motif and quickly evolves into a delightfully bizarre, violence dripping film. OOOMS tried to capture this craziness in a title sequence that prepared the audience for what was to come. Gritty, grungy titles give way to black light styled currency as it all ultimately falls apart and goes down the drain. The Clean Up Crew is available on streaming services now. Ya know... website maintenance is one of those "eh... I'll deal with it later" things. It became a toss something at it every once in a while when the need arose. But after many years of feeding it scraps, shame, and disgust... we finally made the time to do it right! And we had so much gosh darn fun... we decided to do 3 different sites for the price of 1! Out of Our Minds was fortunate to team with director Zach Golden on his latest project. High Heat opens today and is already receiving great reviews. The review in Variety is glowing and calls out our work specifically along with Max Di Carlo, whose music was a huge source of inspiration. Not a bad way to button up a week.

Out of Our Minds had a lot of fun working with producer/director Jon Keeyes on the upcoming stylish action film “Code Name Banshee” starring Antonio Banderas. Oooms designed and animated computer interface screens for the title character’s hacker assistant. To help with tight schedule of the film, the screens were projected live during shooting to reduce the need for post production screen replacements. Screenshots coming once the film releases. Out of Our Minds wanted to send a big thank you out to the team of Alone Together, a new romantic comedy written, directed, and starring Katie Holmes. The film made its debut earlier this month at the Tribeca Film Festival. OOOMS was brought on as the VFX team and if we did our job well, you'll never even know we worked on it. OOOMS was responsible for a number of screen replacements and NY signage replacements. Big thanks also goes out to Richard Clabaugh, the Post Supervisor on the film. You can see the trailer below.
