“Spinal Tap II: the End Continues” opens today and the reviews have been mostly positive. Of course it's a big ask to top the original but by all accounts, this sequel doesn't try too and is buoyed by the likes of Elton John and Paul McCartney with hilarious cameos.

Fittingly enough, Tap's "Stonehenge" takes best of set in this hilarious collection of tunes that also features Steve Martin and Eric Idle.

Today is the 24th anniversary of 9/11. This is the entire show from September 11th, 2001 minus commercials and music. It's hard to listen to at times but ultimately a very interesting time capsule that captures the confusion and fear we all felt that day.

This was long before our affiliation with KGO and we had no agreements with any news networks to carry their programming (that changed soon after.) We ended up bringing a tiny Sony Watchman into the studio and taping CNN by holding a mic up to the speaker! Our PD Benson suggested we just give news as we had it and to play music.
