2025 has already seen Technicolour, MPC, and The Mill forced into administration. Now Jellyfish Pictures has closed their doors. VFX is taking one hell of a slamming with no real forward looking picture of where this is all going to end up. For those of us still holding out, I really hope the dust settles, and soon. The Film & TV industry is bang smack in the middle of its own terrible recession. With a swathe of newly built production studios also shutting up shop having been optimistic about overflow from the big studios at the forefront of bulk diary rentals, or better, purchases, yet never really getting going, the Netflix bubble as it was want to be referred to has either quietly burst or never truly existed in the first place. The days of staggering budgets and blistering VFX Company growth experienced post 2008 and pre pandemic are well and truly over.

In today's world this live scene just wouldn't happen - Bridge Over Remagen (1969) - now it'd be CGI, H&S, contract disputes. Those stunt guys had some big brass ones back then. It's one hell of an explosive gag !

Don't really know what's been done to deserve it, but nominated and selected as MD of the Year 2024 Production & VFX (Small Enterprises) with Oceanstorm Films VFX. The company is moving well but still needs to grow more. But, hey, a very well done to all my team here in the UK, in India, and in Thailand.

Honoured that OSFVFX continues to be a preferred collaborator with Adages VFX Company of the Year 2023 with some of their award winning campaigns from 2022 being highlights in our showreel.

The London-based company brought the "Star Trek" Enterprise, Buddy the Elf, Doctor Strange’s Cloak of Levitation and Poseidon to life for advertisers.
