Wanted: On site manager for wolf and wolf dog sanctuary located in New Hampshire:

This job includes room and board. It also includes a small stipen. This job is not for someone looking to make/save money. This job is for someone who is passionate about the ongoing efforts to rescue wolves/wolf dogs that have been abandoned, abused, neglected or unwanted. This job is for someone whose primary focus is the care and well being of the animals that reside here.

On site manager is responsible for:

· Public inspection schedule

· Meat pick up

· Filling orders for folks that have ordered items via the website

· Facility Maintenance Supervision

· Intake information for animals coming in. Evaluations of animals done by board members and must be approved by board as well.



Minimum Qualifications:

· Computer skills

· Valid drivers license

· Physical abilities to lift heavy objects (including animals if/when needed). No allergies to animals

· Experience working with wolves/wolf dogs helpful. Will train the right person.

The manager is also responsible and accountable for the supervision of the volunteers, the integrity of the sanctuary, and activities that support the mission of the refuge. The manager ensures the animal care, health and well being of every animal is practiced throughout their work and the organization. The manager must have strong work ethics and a positive attitude.

Wolfdogs Magazine is now in production of Volume 2 Issue 5 ! We need lots of personal stories from wolfdog owners to fill up this issue and issue 6. If you have a story to tell and haven't sent it in, now is a great time. With so much negative stuff written about wolfdogs in the media these days this is one of the few places where wolfdogs get positive press. This magazine goes out to many countries now so please share your stories. Also Wolfdogs Magazine will only last as long as it is supported by its subscribers and contributors. The story contributions have dropped off a lot in the last few months so if you believe in this cause please put together your story of 2500 words or less and send it with your supporting high resolution images to [email protected] Also if you are not a subscriber please subscribe even if you do so just to share your copies with your local animal control, politicians, wildlife dept etc. You can subscribe at www.wolfdogsmagazine.org With all of the legislation being introduced these days and all of the negative press, it is really important that the people who have influence in making the laws see good press about wolfdogs.
