Got the privilege of covering an Honor Flight departure this morning. It's always great to see our Vets heading out to D.C. to see the sights, and visit the memorials. This time it was a little different though, as younger veterans were traveling with the older veterans on this trip. I think it's great that younger Vets were traveling with their older brothers/sisters in arms. Just think of the stories shared between the two groups.

At the new Beyond Van Gogh immersive experience at the Reno Sparks Convention Center. Definitely recommend checking it out.

It's official! The 0.11" of rain that fell at KRNO last night was enough to just push us over the previous record of 1.65" (1965) for the month of August.

The airport has now had 1.66" total in the month of August, and incredibly 1.22" of that fell in roughly 90 minutes on August 3rd!

There's a chance for additional rain this afternoon and evening as thunderstorms develop in the vicinity, but it's looking drier the rest of the month.
