Ten years ago this morning, we got notice through that Albert’s Favourites Ltd. Was officially a business. We still had loads to do before the first release but it was officially happening, for better or worse!

We could never have imagined what would come, we’ve done so much more than we set out to, but we’ll talk more about that over the rest of this celebratory year. RIGHT NOW we’re announcing a very special show in Brighton on September 4th at

headlines playing music from his debut album. .arabatzi will be playing one of her utterly sublime solo sets. And will bring a selection of label vinyl (and some “favourites” of course) to play a “10 Years Of” set in the bar.

We hope our Brighton friends and family will come out and celebrate with us in this special event. The first of a few we’ll announce through the rest of the year and into 2026. Check arjunaoakes.com for ticket links.

Some gorgeous mellowness for you this morning. Truth Be Told is a heavenly and emotional cut from the debut Mark Millington album, Picture This.

Recorded in New York last winter with an exceptional band including on arrangements and production, on guitar on piano on bass and on drums.

Mark’s saxophone melodies and soloing are plaintive and yearning and completely mesmerising.

If you haven’t got this in your life yet, today is a perfect day to introduce yourself.

Sending huge love and congratulations to today. His third album is here, it’s incredibly beautiful. An emotional document of a life filled with love, loss and new beginnings. Released on his own Power In Comfort imprint (with a little help from Albert’s Favourites) we really can’t recommend this to you enough.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to the album launch at on Saturday night. It was such a beautiful occasion full of beautiful faces, friends, family and beyond, listening deeply and supportively to this brilliant record, most of which was played for the first time in London.

Another beautiful day at on Saturday. Honestly can’t get enough of spending the day with the labels we love and the people who support us and the people who are only just discovering us but just want to dive in and hear something new.

Getting to tell the stories of these records and share the music we’ve been putting out is the WHOLE point of doing this.

We completely love seeing all the records with all the beautiful art we’ve created, spread out in front of us too.

Thank you everyone who came by and supported. So good to hear live on the day too and to catch up with the brilliant John Parry from and the family, and so many more. Love this community so much. Forever grateful.
