✔️Where It All Started. My journey began in the hallowed halls of St. Xavier's Collegiate School & College, a foundation that taught me the importance of curiosity and relentless pursuit of the truth.

I have a proven track record of shaping a channel’s content and strategy from the top down, a mission I accomplished by keeping my eye on what truly matters: the audience. My ability to leverage BARC reflections to grow the business is a testament to my belief that great content is the key to both journalistic integrity and commercial success.

🚨 In 2025, I witnessed an emotional moment at NKTV Group when the channel's main page was suddenly lost. It was a crisis that needed an immediate solution, and my personal public page became that lifeline. For eight months, my page became the face and voice of NKTV Bangla, a testament to how a small platform could serve a massive organization in its journey. I had the honor of bridging that gap, ensuring the flow of information continued without a single break. In August 2025, upon my departure, my boss, in a beautiful act of recognition, returned the page to me. Today, it holds a few scattered remnants of that time, a memory of those eight months when my small page became a giant's anchor. This story will always be a part of my journey, a reminder that we are always bigger than we seem and we all have a chance to be the hero, when the time calls for it.

Welcome to Ilmishka Duniya

IMDC is a media and film production, solutions and services company based out of Kolkata, India. Founded in 2017, IMDC is involved in producing, distributing and exhibiting new age Indian independent content and cinema online and offline globally.

Ilmishka Duniya Cinema, circa 2017 onwards

The journey started in 2017 with the IMDC’s first Hindi language short film titled ‘Aadhira’. The 18 minute film was critically acclaimed in the festival circuit. Since then IMDC has produced films, documentaries, web shows, commercials, spanning over three languages. Till June 2020 IMDC has produced 03 Feature Films in three different languages, 03 Short films in 3 languages, 04 feature length and short length documentaries, 02 webshows, 01 international stage play and countless social media digital ads and commercials. In 2018 IMDC partnered with Chitrabani (Jesuit Film Society co founded by Satyajit Ray) and Nandan (West Bengal Govt. Film Centre) to host the 15th Kolkata Short & Feature Film Festival. In the same year IMDC collaborated with Royal Stag Large Short Films who presented IMDC’s short film ‘Godhulibela’ online.
