2nite in LA..
DVS1 presents another edition of
The Wall of Sound.

When planning this event, he was asked who
he wanted to join him that without any doubt suggested one of his longest running musical influences and artists that he truly admires
and personally considers this man as one
of the most unique deknicians of our time.

We’ve known each other for over 25 years.
When it comes to musical delivery, technical ability, and TRUTH in music,
This is beyond the dance, beyond “house”
or “techno” as most of the society overall
would define it.

Recently, DVS1 invited the articulate visionary Traxx to join him in Belgium during his residency at Fuse and the last Wall of Sound event in Detroit in 2024 in Room 2 as the attendees witnessed the magic happening of pure bliss
on everyone’s faces, old and new freaking out simply because the music was so intense, beautiful and real!

Most importantly that we need to make
very clear about this evenings endeavor.
Typically, Traxx uses vinyl in his presentations, however this will be presenting a unique demonstration with only CDs due to the
massive sound system.
(Vinyl would be too risky!)

the involvement of Dirtyblends and the artists or misfits
of the label we’ve coined gangsters of the dungeon
underworld maintaining balance by preserving the music
we hold true to our hearts that we feel is slowly fading away

DirtybLends edition 10 is a Chicago slab of ruff business!

A-side comes from Grizzly Knuckles with ‘Caviar’ an influential continuation concept from the early days of trax records for 1 of the nastiest productions to come from The Sensuous Man & Woman Goes Disco laying on top of a drum machine rhythm that gets to the heart of the cut and the message!

B-side comes from The Jak himself re-creating the drum rhythm of
Jesse Saunders with his Kpr machine from scratch, then applying
influential sounds from his keyboard to sound like DJ Rush from
his proto release on relief records by creating a new blueprint
for Jakbeat CHICAGO style of slam dance and mosh pit chaos
that happened at The Reactor or Medusa’s..(for those who remember)

DirtybLends edition 11 is another 3 track inferno release combining 3 different ideas together from heavy Jakbeat to old school slower style
tracks of the label: Chicago Underground to early 80s proto-house instrumentals of Boyd Jarvis!!

A-side comes from Cliff Solomon on this production that the caT
honors the timeless work of the originator Boyd Jarvis & Timmy Regisford
from 1985 developing drum and bassline ideas with elevated drama and
deepest respect for the true pioneers of the underground."

A2 is a collaboration from The Jak and Lex Lathan recorded at Nation HQ
presenting their idea to keep the spirit of the early releases on Chicago Underground that were produced more slower in style entitled: The CaLL {oN tHe EdgE}
