So finally got to watch both Barbie and Oppenheimmer. While the tone is clearly different, here are some topics I wasn’t expecting both movies to touch upon, but shouldn’t have been surprised.
1. The impact of public perception in the political, social and economic spheres.
2. How the world in occident is build and rebuilt under capitalism in order to maintain the status quo of the empire.
3. How men, in order to feel validated, are willing to play with concepts they don’t fully understand and destroy worlds in the process.
4. Your chances to succeed grow when you listen to a woman who is aware of her emotions and the environment that is around her.
5. If we think about death as an individual, we might commit more chaos to our environment. If we think about our collective demise, maybe and just maybe, can we bring a change that could benefit us all. No one left behind!
