It began it's journey as a monthly column on another Heavy Metal webzine. With the help of designer Richard Leggatt and a team of talented writers including Jeremy Kelly, Billy Larouqe, Matt Coe, Stevie Kopas, Dave Edwards and toy expert Aaron Hauser, Horror Metal Sounds soon found a voice of it's own. Most of you may have heard the sorrowful news of HMS founder Kenneth Gallant’s passing earlier today.

We would like to extend our most heartfelt sympathies to his wife, Sandra Gallant, and help her get back to Toronto following the news of Kenneth's sudden and heartbreaking passing.
