Doug Bowser, President of Nintendo of America for over six years and with the company for more than a decade, retired effective December 31, 2025.

Devon Pritchard, a Nintendo veteran who joined in 2006, assumed the role of President today. She becomes the first woman to hold this position.

Here's an impromptu playthrough. I have seen videos from my personal Facebook profile from Professor Sport Mode and I had to play it for myself.

RHDN description:
This is a hack of DKC for the SNES. As a big fan of watching Mario stuff, SMW Mario was added here. The physics engine is still entirely DKC. Just, some things were modified to work here.

Also, most of the music is changed here. All of the music done here was sequenced in the Rare sound engine. This is exclusive here. Music hasn’t been hacked to this extent in any previous hack.

The goal here was not a Mario hack. But a DKC hack with Mario playable.

Here's Donkey Kong Country 3 finally uploaded. During the recording, Part 10, which would be the original play of Krematoa, got corrupted and instead of playing over the game, which took over 3 hours in one sitting, I decided to replay Krematoa instead of playing the entire game over. With that, the original DKC SNES trilogy is complete.

The hotly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI has been delayed once again, from May 26 to November 19, 2026.

The purpose is to give the team, "some additional time to finish the game with the high level of polish players expect and deserve." Link in the comments for more.

Here's my next playthrough up. Here's All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros. and it seems this may be a USA translation as the official FDS version sees levels from SMB The Lost Levels thrown in. Not this version at least as these are all levels from the original SMB and the Luigi Game is the standard SMB 2 Player Game where the player alternates between the two brothers.

My Wi-Fi actually cooperated with me tonight as I was able to upload the entire run perfectly. Normally I'd have to use my hot spot. Let's hope it's that way when I post my next two upcoming runs.

Here's a what if scenario for the NES SMB3. What if clearing a standard action panel had the sound effect heard in Super Mario All Stars and Super Mario Advance 4? Wonder what that would sound like? Here is the result.

The SFX is piped in and not actually programmed. SFX used is the checkpoint flag from both Super Mario Maker games in both the SMB and SMB3 game styles.

Here's Donkey Kong Country 2 finally uploaded. Wi-Fi has been a mess the last few days so uploading has been a nightmare, hence the reason I am on the fence about playing DKC3. I'll think about it.

I did the 75 Kremkoins trick in order to not play The Lost World levels during the postgame. Anything I missed I did offscreen. Sadly I did not get the 102%. Oh well...
