Masters of stealth and navigating through the heavy foliage of the Fangthorn Swamps. These masters of the hunt often find themselves engaging with other apex predators, such as the various large snake and hydra fauna that inhabit the Fangthorn.

While they have a particular affinity for the various fruit clusters that can grow in the lower canopies, they are known to switch to larger prey if the chance arises!

Saltadj was once a mortal champion of the Forge Father, chosen for his unwavering strength, resilience, and devotion to order. He ascended beyond his mortal limits to become the Warden of the God Forge of the Frozen North, a sacred forge imbued with divine purpose. His charge? To defend the forge and the surrounding lands from the creeping corruption of chaos demons and abyssal void entities. To the tribes of the North, he was a mythic protectorโ€”a bulwark against the unknown.

โš™๏ธ ๐–๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐œ๐š๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ž๐ ๐’๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐š๐๐ฃโ€™๐ฌ ๐๐ž๐ฌ๐œ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐จ ๐๐š๐ซ๐ค๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ?
His fall was not born from ambitionโ€”but abandonment. As the Forge Father and the other celestial powers turned their attention to wars across the mortal realm, Saltadj was left alone to guard the forge and endure centuries of siege and isolation. When the tribal clans of the Frozen North, fearing his growing power, banded together to assault the God Forge, Saltadj reached a fatal conclusion:

โ€œOnly I can defend this land. And I shall do so by any means.โ€

He opened himself to the power of undeath, tapping into the Realm of Death to preserve the forgeโ€™s might. In doing so, he corrupted itโ€”transforming the sacred site into the Frost Forge, a cursed beacon that steals the souls of the dead, freezing both their bodies and destinies in eternal stillness.

Saltadj wields an ancient, rune-etched greataxeโ€”a weapon forged in honor of the first mortal tribes of the North he once protected. The axeโ€™s head is adorned with dragon-knot motifs, invoking elemental balance and primal ancestry. Though once a symbol of unity, it now radiates a cold hunger, feeding on the life force of those it strikes.
