The Basement Sublet of Horror is a horror host television program featuring Gunther Dedmund. Gunther lives in a basement sublet apartment and hosts campy horror films that he sometimes re-edits into new parodies of the genre or hosts the films in a traditional way. It's weird, it's fun, it's Gunther Dedmund's strange little show.

Showing this Monday, October 27th, at the Lawrence Public Library at 6 p.m., Kansas filmmaker Tom Leahy Jr. 1965 horror film "The Beast from the Beginning of Time." Along with his unfinished television pilot "Green Hell from the Void," and a brief history of his work in Kansas television, screening in the library auditorium.

Scott Phillips will appear this Monday, October 13th, 6pm at the Lawrence Public Library to discuss his 1985 film "Walking Blues."
The screening also features a collection of Kansas-made filmmakers shorts films.

Here's another update to the scheduling of the upcoming movie shows. Author Scott Phillips will be at the Lawrence Public Library on October 13th at 6pm to talk about his early film "Walking Blues." The screening of Tom Leahy's film "Green Hell from the Void" will now be shown on October 27th.
