Greetings fellow Earthlings, Karaoke "Family" Members and Friends,
I know, I know..it hasn't been a whole month since our Fabulous Halloween Show. I want to say a humongous
Thank you to all who helped and participated...Especially our Nathan, who always provides some of the best sound for everyone.
Thank yous also to our "Decorators Extraordinaire"... Darryl and Shakya,
for making it a spooky but lovely experience. And of course, "Miss Witchy" who always is a "Treat".
The Rsl Club Elizabeth is a very busy venue and Nathan and I feel blessed when we can secure any free night to book our Karaoke in. This month is this coming FRIDAY night, NOVEMBER 10th
from 7-11pm. The Theme is "Gods and Goddesses". We all have a little bit within ourselves. Egyptian, Roman, Greek, Viking, Indian etc. etc.
I personally believe that there's only
one true God. But, I also know that we haven't seen Him yet and other cultures have had other deities. So, we're having a bit of fun. Put your thinking caps on.
We have Heaven Costumes here in the North. There's also several party supply stores(ask Darryl). Ebay has Costumes they can Express Post. You can always turn your white sheet into a toga and some of the Superheroes were considered deities. Think Thor, Hercules were considered to be Gods and even Wonderwoman is considered to be a demi-Goddess.
Dressing Up is optional but FUN. Hope to see all of you on Friday. Please feel free to bring own mics, foam mic covers or wipes to ensure your own and others' safety. Covid has reared its ugly head again within the community.
We also have this year's
CHRISTMAS SHOW already booked in on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 22nd. Put it in your diary and start looking for something Christmasy.
