We wrapped on a awesome German commercial on Wednesday. It was an amazing experience to work with a team of absolute A-players. As the second unit Director of Photography, I got to take my lead from the incredibly talented, highly accomplished, yet kind and humble Spanish DP, Uri Barcelna (.barcelona) His approach to creating a beautiful, consistent look on set is both science and art. I learned so much from him!

I was also privileged to work with German director Stefanie Soho (). She brought such a calm, gentle demeanour to the set, yet was always decisive in her creative choices, creating a peaceful environment for everyone around her. The Stillking Team ( ), besides organising this mammoth 9-day commercial to a tee, made sure I had a fantastic team. I couldn’t have done it without,1st AC Zayne Harrison, my loader, Tafadzwa Pasi and the amazing grip and lighting team.

Finally my second unit director, Lukas Keuchel ( .calvin ), was fantastic to work with. Together, we made beautiful images in sometimes very limited time. Looking forward to doing this again! Thank you, thank you!
