It’s been awhile since I posted but thought I would fill you in on what’s happening behind the scenes. Been gathering/ finding some killer deals on some great parts to get the T-Top coupe project ball rolling again! Starting with a World Class t5 with low miles! Along with a ### roller engine from a 96 explorer with gt40 heads. Today, we went over to a good buddies and helped him make room in his shop by buying some of his old take offs/ new parts that he didn’t use. That included some Ford Motorsport/Racing parts aswell!

Finally some decent enough weather here in the south to have a car show! Yesterday we had the CSRA Mustang And Ford Club Regional show yesterday. Even with the slight threat of rain, we still had around 50 cars show up and have a great time! The Cobra yard find also made it first appearance in public and did great! Even came home with some hardware! Finished off the evening at the Sno-Cap Drive-in with an ice cream and good friends.

Great to finally get out and about with the Fox crew! We cruised over to the Sno-cap drive in for the CSRA Mustang and Ford club 3rd Saturday cruise in!

A little before and after pic of the touch ups/upgrades to the cobra engine bay. Dad had a cobra intake on the shelf that was originally for his coupe in way better condition. Also added the Ford Motorsport cobra valve covers and MAC cold air intake from the coupe! Still have some work to do obviously to make the engine bay shine like never before but definitely a good start! Not too much longer before we get to hear her run on her own!

Made some good progress towards getting the 93 Cobra yard find back on the road today! Found out the car was equiped with a Viper alarm system at one point in its life and have been working toward removing the wiring harness and fixing the wires back to factory. Removed the carpet to give it a good cleaning with some carpet cleaner and pressure washer along with the engine bay! I removed the intake to 1st replace the upper with a much better condition cobra intake that dad has had in his parts stash for a long time and 2nd slap on these finned Ford Motorsport cobra valve covers to replace the boring stock valve covers lol

It’s crazy to finally bring home a car you have been chasing for 8 years, but today was the day! After losing my dad’s 92 coupe due to hurricane helene, we knew we had to get him back in a fox! Well, as much as I hate losing such an important car to me, I believe this 93 Cobra will make up for some of the heart ache! This car was been sitting for 10+ years and the last few pictures are from when I discovered this car sitting in a side yard of a house local to us in Sept. 2017. Since then, I have kept in contact with the family of the owner and the car has moved around a good bit on me but today, we finally put it in our stable! We are very grateful for the opportunity to own such an awesome piece of fox history!

We will be there again this year! Can’t wait already! Hopefully will be bringing something a little special aswell… 🤫. Who all plans on going this year?
