To all labels and artists colleagues :
We've been using SoundCloud for over 15 years, and used to appreciated the platform and its role in supporting independent artists and labels.

But lately, I’ve been facing a really frustrating issue:
🟠 mostly all new Tracks I own copyright submitted for monetization have been stuck in “pending approval” for months — some for over a year.
I opened a support ticket – no response.
I emailed directly – no response.
And now… there's literally nothing left to do but consider deleting my tracks.

What’s worse is that while these tracks are still live and streaming, we’re not getting paid, while Soundcloud generates revenue from them. It honestly feels like SoundCloud might be deliberately delaying approvals to withhold royalties.

"A decade-deep relationship with Apersonal Music continues to bear golden fruit as Portuguese duo Cisco Cisco return to the Barcelona-based label with an uplifting funk charged new release. The Heat EP is exactly what you’d hope for from a partnership this seasoned: warm, groove-rich house and disco with just enough edge to keep the floor bubbling through the night.

The EP opens with “Why Can’t I Be You?”, a track drenched in classic disco soul. Cisco Cisco flex their sampling finesse here, looping up warm strings, fluttering guitar licks, and a deep, melodic bassline that captures their signature bittersweet euphoria. This one’s tailor made for early evening rooftop sets or the sunrise shift when emotions start to stir.

Title track “The Heat” pivots into grittier territory, calling on the punch and sparkle of early 2000s French electro house. Think Roule Records and those sweaty basement sessions where the filters were pushed to the red. It’s a raw yet groovy workout driven by clipped vocal chops, crunchy drums, and a chugging rhythm that commands body movement without over-complication.

Then comes “Under the Bridge,” an homage to the golden era of French touch. It’s all dusty samples, snappy kicks, and a swirling sense of filtered funk that harks back to a time when Parisian house felt like the coolest thing on Earth. It’s nostalgic but never dated, polished yet rough around the edges in all the right ways."
