The Indigenous Storytellers Scholarship – Djuyalgal Scholarship, meaning “the one who is telling the story” in the Gathang language of the Worimi People, is a groundbreaking initiative led by Façon Australia.
Now in its fourth year, the program amplifies emerging First Nations creatives across art, fashion, music, writing, photography, dance and film.
It's estimated to have reached over 4.5 million readers and listeners through TV, print, radio and digital media, partnered with leading organisations including Greater Bank, Indigenous Literacy Foundation, Indigenous Fashion Projects and the University of Newcastle, and supported by figures such as Casey Donovan, Samantha Harris and Mitch Tambo. Façon’s magazine extends this further with 150+ printed copies and thousands of digital reads.
We create diverse, high-impact projects that elevate brands and connect with audiences. Partner with us and see how we can bring your story to life.
