A sincere thank you to Aaron from Toybox Films for capturing the mood so effortlessly behind the lens.

Congratulations to the 2025 Indigenous Storytellers Scholarship recipient — Sean Kinchela 🎉

A proud Gamilaroi and Wiradjuri man living on Yuin Country, Sean is a passionate photographer and digital artist. His work tells powerful stories of Country, culture, and community — capturing landscapes, oceans, skies, and people to honour all that connects us to place.

With bold goals to amplify Indigenous voices, Sean plans to use the $10,000 scholarship from Greater Bank to develop a photography guidebook to the South Coast — a visual journey through hidden gems, wildlife, and cultural knowledge.

Featured works by Sean include Yinaar at Camels Rock Stars and Nakia – Cultural Portrait.

We’re proud to support his creative journey. Visit faconaustralia.com/magazine to explore Sean’s story in our Façon Magazine special edition.

Created by Façon Australia and Greater Bank to support emerging Indigenous creatives.
