THIS IS WHAT PAINTING IT FORWARD LOOKS LIKE!

Thanks to the amazing community who made this happen, for setting this in motion with your match, everyone who bought a painting and so many of you who donated anyway! You turned paper and color into 70,000 meals for Alaskans but I think you started something much bigger. I can’t wait to see where this momentum takes us to painting it forward!

“Like Bob Ross… but outside… and streaming…. and without the hair… and frozen….”

I am trying to figure out how to bring people with me, so I live streamed the entire process of Kicksled all the way to this beautiful spot and making this frozen Watercolor on twitch. I got nice and chill, but I also got a great little painting and a wonderful memory! Where should I go next?

Hearing Mark Ruffalo’s words about water and keeping it uncontaminated wi the forever chemicals felt so important I knew we were going to have to show it in the film, but how to you bring a watercolor to life?

Why not make 10 of them?

You can see the full film and what Mark was talking about now on the website.

When a dream gets made out of watercolors and tape!

Thanks so much to all the people out there working to make the world a safer and cleaner place for all of us in the fight against forever chemicals. In particular the front line communities the for their action and advocacy, for all that they do, for making this story happen and for your poetry and focus.

And of course thanks to Kip for so much filming over snack time, Eve for making everything happen, for hammering out the story and .langille and literally keeping the lights bright!

Find “A little story about forever” as well as how you can get involved on KEENs website now.
