Found out last night about the passing of Philip James Fox so the is in tribute to him. He was a good friend to me and especially to Gretchen Fowler.

We had so much fun watching Beatles movies and other films with him and A.j. Rownd and talking about music and art. He was so supportive of everyone’s creativity and Myrtle Beach just isn’t going to be the same without him.

May your music, paintings, and writing live on Phil. We’ll be thinking about you for a good long time.

To be honest, I still haven’t heard much of the music or Kris Kristofferson, but I always thought he seemed like a good guy. However, I have been familiar with this song since I was a kid, due to it being a part of the tv special Free to be You and Me. A very touching tune that only means more to me as an adult. RIP Kris Kristofferson

Today is my stepdad Joe Peha’s first birthday since he passed away, so my is dedicated to him.

I’m pretty sure Cher was his favorite female musician, but he was also a big fan of Tina Turner.
Even though this song was not amongst his music collection, it’s the song that’s been in my head all day as I think of him.
