Echad Records would like to fill a gap in the Messianic movement by helping to promote Messianic musicians online. This label will offer free downloads from both established and up-and-coming acts, promoted via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and a mailing list. To kick off this project, we are organizing a compilation to be released in advance of Messiah Conference 2013. We will be handing out promot
ional cards at the conference to encourage our mishpocha to visit Echad Records and download the compilation. Along with the compilation, we will include bios and links for all participating acts. We would like to see at least eight acts participating with one song each. If you would like to participate, you must submit a recording of a song that you have the rights to, and grant Echad Records a perpetual, non-exclusive license to distribute your recording online only. This means you can still sell or distribute your recording in any format on your own behalf. It could be from a past release, an upcoming release, or something you were not planning to release at all. To recap, if you would like to participate, please submit:
- A WAV or AIFF file of your recording
- Your bio/story
- Links to your website and/or online store
- Details for your latest or upcoming release
