It's so depressing seeing other DJs my age on social media just spend all their energy bitching and moaning about how 'technology has ruined DJing'.

Technology is freeing DJs up so they can focus on things like on the fly track selection, better phrase matching and interplay between tracks and crafting a journey - the things that actually matter to delivering for the audience. I am literally hearing the best sets I've ever heard in 2025.

Are we living in a utopian bubble in Sydney where we have good parties, with good DJs and just get on with trying to do our best? I'm just so sick of the negative discourse I see every time I try to engage with my passion online. I'm THIS close to making content about it - Should I? Does anyone want that?

Something other than my usual DnB from gigs. This one was red - UKG, tech house, techno, 140 bass, and breaks.

My last set for 2024 - Was an honour to see out the night after Royalston let loose with stuff from his new album, Midnight Zone volume II.

Off to NZ for a holiday shortly. Will be back with more in 2025, from lashings of liquid DnB at Real Fluid, right through to other styles at warehouse parties. Catch you then!
