Classic, New and Unsigned Rock show, aired Fortnightly since 2011. The show is currently available to listen to online via Mixcloud.

Established in 2011 by massive rock fans Gemma and Simon, and named after one of their favourite AC/DC albums, Let There Be Rock is an independent radio show aired fortnightly playing the best in Classic, New and Unsigned rock. After 4 years of broadcasting on Brighton's Metal Meyhem Radio, the station sadly closed on the 31st August 2022. However... Let There Be Rock returned to the UK airwaves o

n the 16th September, on 96.7 Phoenix FM, back in our hometown of Halifax, West Yorkshire. Rejoining the station where it all began back in 2011! Tune in alternate Friday's 8-10pm! For music submissions please make sure you have the copyright owners permission, including the relevant information about the release and artist, and include an mp3 or wav file attachment. 🤘🎸 Top night in Manchester to see the legendary mighty FM official at the Club Academy… on top form as always, great sing along, and made travelling out in the torrential rain worthwhile.

Our Story

Classic, New and Unsigned Rock Show aired fortnightly. Formed in 2011 and presented by Gemma and Simon. Formally broadcast fortnightly on 96.7 Phoenix FM, Mondays 8-10pm between February 2011 and March 2018. Currently available to listen to via Mixcloud and now fortnightly, Monday’s 10pm - Midnight on CSNX-9520 Metal Meyhem Radio available in Brighton and surrounding areas on DAB+, and worldwide online.
