Grimsburg (Binge). New drop from the hero's at starring John Ham. Great premise, a horror/murder mystery comedy with some funny ideas and great characters. Animation is great as to be expected from Bento. Excited for new episodes already!

Hell House LLC III (Shudder). The saga continues. More of the same, but that's in no way a bad thing.

Mr & Mrs Smith (Amazon). A new story from the same universe as the Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie film. Donald Glover and Maya Erskine give AMAZING performances! The script is great and the story is intense and intriguing with the interpersonal stuff fantastically weaved in letting it be funny when it needs to be. Cinematography is clever and has some real stand out shots and ideas. Would recommend!

Hell House LLC II (Shudder). Finally continuing the Hell House series since the latest release is said to be pretty great. Found footage movies with an intertwined character lore and a pretty fun clown mascot. Had us asking who they were talking about a few times, but sound like fun if you're into that sort of thing. Not super scary, but it's hard to outdo capitalism nowadays.

Ted (Tv Series) (Binge). It's ok to be wrong about things. After Ted 2 being the travesty it is I just thought this would be one last swing at the IP before retirement. Don't get me wrong, I thought the first movie was innovative and had a great part with Liam Neeson. The writing is tight keeping the pace high which makes this style work the best. The ideas are good and it sets up an actual story arc. It just suffers from having that real McFarlane feel. The music every time you see the house had me in a nose dive every time.

The Visit. For some reason we had an inkling to go back and watch the M Night movies we missed and this is one. A decent horror with a tense atmosphere and a few good scares. Didn't notice M Nights cameo in this one which is strange. But none of the characters are written like humans. It's so strange and not in an effective, unsettling way that could have worked. The kids are the worst offenders. The acting is actually pretty decent, even with the script. The 'found footage' element is consistent, if not always realistic, and the trademark twist is decent though not earth shattering. Really quite liked this one.

My Bloody Valentine 2009 (Stan). It's not often you get hit with the double-doublecross, and this one kinda got us. The acting and character decision making are very 2000's, so it's campy in that very particular way. It's also fun to guess which parts were made specifically for 3D. Overall, it's not good, but in a great way.
