Why bring this up now? In the wake of the Trayvon Martin case and the State of FL, which is a tourist driven state, it can mean a lot! Spending the AA dollar there def has helped to make it what it is and represents today. Maybe the re consideration of where AA spend their money...or not spend their money can open some eyes, because eyes are still closed when it comes to justice and race relations....

Hit them in the pocket and they will pay attention!

In the murder trial of Trayvon Martin, we see that the Justice Dept. has now become involved, according to this article. Sean Hannity and Pat Buchanan seem to feel this is not acceptable... stating that they (Justice Dept) have betrayed their mission. According to Lou Dobbs, the mission is: "Preventing racial and ethnic tensions."

What are your thoughts on this divide, the Justice systems intervention in this whole case and why they probably felt the need to step in?

So, I was listening to the Tom Joyner Morning show this morning and they had an interesting discussion going about the new show Mistresses that will be coming out, following right behind Scandal. The question was is the media now portraying that its okay to be the side chick?? Although it seems to be the norm and gets high ratings, are these types of shows are lifting the un-moral to new accepting heights by portraying them to be glamorous, exciting, the "in" thing? what do you think?
