Jason Aldean made his CMA Fest 2025 performance one to remember when he surprised fans with his special guest, Travis Tritt, during his headlining set at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.
As the final act of the night, Aldean went out with a bang. After delivering hits like “Hicktown,” “Dirt Road Anthem,” “My Kinda Party,” and his latest No. 1 hit, “Whiskey Drink,” he rounded out his set by inviting fellow Georgia native Travis Tritt to join him on stage for “It’s A Great Day To Be Alive,” on our ‘Facebook Post of the Night’

Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins thrilled the CMA Fest crowd with a performance of their fan-favorite hit, “Hillbilly Bone,” and they sounded just as good singing it as they did over 15 years ago when it was first released.
Shelton welcomed Adkins to the stage amid his performance to sing “H***y Tonk Badonkadonk” and together, they brought the house down with “Hillbilly Bone,” a comedic song all about embracing your inner hillbilly, on our ‘Facebook Post of the Night’

“He is a brother to me," Shelton says of his longtime friend, Trace Adkins.

The latest album from Tyler Childersis “Snipe Hunter,” produced by legendary music guru Rick Rubin, 13 tracks add to the Tyler Childers legacy. Tonight both the studio version and a live performance video of the song “Nose On The Grindstone”—a song Childers has been performing live for many years on our ‘Facebook Post of the Night’

The latest album from Tyler Childers will be named Snipe Hunter, and it will be produced by legendary music guru Rick Rubin. Childers has also released a studio version of "Nose On The Grindstone."

Bailey Zimmerman has officially announced that his second full-length album titled Different Night Same Rodeo, is set for release on August 8th.
He said, “There’s something about ‘Comin’ In Cold’ that I haven’t done before because it’s not about heartbreak – it’s about this girl that I shouldn’t be chasing. I’m chasing red flags and I’m addicted to it. She’s everything I want and nothing I can have, just like a beer on a Saturday night.” Check it out on our ‘Facebook Post of the Night’

Miranda Lambert always brings it at her live shows… and apparently, so do her fans, but not necessarily always in a good way.
Miranda says that there were too many girl fights that started during “Mama’s Broken Heart,” And I’d have to wait to start my ballad because they’d have to calm down from ‘Mama’s Broken Heart.’”
These days, she sings it third to last, so if a fight does break out, the girls can just finish out the show with a literal bang if that’s what they’re into.

We're terribly sad to report the passing of former Q102 and WDTL personality D.K. Pierce. DK died yesterday in Texas. From 2015 until early 2024, DK did mornings on Q102 and, after returning to Texas due to health reasons, continued to do the morning show on WDTL. DK was a great talent and will be missed. He was 56.

At 74 years old, Rodney Crowell is still refusing to pack it in, and still has plenty to say. And for his upcoming album Airline Highway taking flight August 29th. “This record is a document of me falling in love with these musicians,” says Crowell. “That’s one of the great perks of this job—falling in love with the people you’re playing with. And we caught that on tape.”

Those musicians include Ashley McBryde, who appears on the album’s debut track “Taking Flight” that she also co-wrote, Lukas Nelson on “Rainy Days in California” he also co-wrote with Crowell, Blackberry Smoke’s Charlie Starr who sings on “Heaven Can You Help,” while Rebecca and Megan Lovell from Larkin Poe contribute harmonies and slide guitar throughout the record. His collaboration with Ashley McBride is featured on our ‘Facebook Post of the Day’

At 74 years old, Crowell is still refusing to pack it in, and still has plenty to say. And for his upcoming album "Airline Highway," he's getting a lot of lift from the collaborators who appear with him on the project.
