“𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙟𝙤𝙮 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜”

Last October 29, 2024, the 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 -𝐋𝐏𝐂 participated in the “𝐁𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐆𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠” program at Biaan Integrated School, collaborating with other organizations in the Bachelor of Business Administration Department to support the community. We express our gratitude to 𝑴𝒂’𝒂𝒎 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒂 𝑨. 𝑩𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒍, 𝑴𝒂’𝒂𝒎 𝑹𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒚𝒏 𝑶𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒐, and 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔 for their 𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒎 𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚, as well as our 𝒂𝒅𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒓, 𝑴𝒂’𝒂𝒎 𝑹𝒊𝒛𝒛𝒂𝒍𝒚𝒏 𝑯𝒖𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒏, for her 𝒈𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆.

ASEAN, established on August 8, 1967, in Bangkok by Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand, seeks to foster regional stability, economic development, and cultural exchange. It has since grown to include ten member countries, adding Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia. The organization emphasizes economic integration through initiatives such as the ASEAN Economic Community Blueprint 2025 and plays a crucial role in regional security, exemplified by the creation of the ASEAN Regional Forum in 1993. Despite its successes, ASEAN faces challenges, including criticism for its non-interference stance, particularly concerning human rights issues in Myanmar. As it celebrates its 57th anniversary, ASEAN underscores the need for resilience and adaptability in response to global economic shifts and regional tensions, especially in the South China Sea.
