Taking steps toward a better diet can make an extraordinary difference, even if you've eaten poorly for years. One reason is although you may think of your body as a permanent structure, most of your body's tissues are actually in a constant state of renewal.

The cells lining your stomach, for example, are replaced every five days. While your red blood cells last about four months. The cells in a
adult human liver are replaced every three to five hundred days. Even your bones are far from permanent; the entire human skeleton renews itself about every ten years. Almost all the cells in your body an being continually regenerated, so what you eat today literally becomes your body tomorrow.

Save this recipe for when you’re craving a savory raw meal!

Ingredients:
2 celery stalks, finely diced
¼ red bell pepper, finely diced
¼ yellow bell pepper, finely diced
¼cup green onion, finely diced
¼ bunch fresh parsley, finely chopped
¼ bunch fresh dill finely chopped
2 tbsp dulse flakes
1 tsp pink salt (optional)
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper (optional)
1 garlic clove
2 cups sunflower soaked sunflower seeds
2 tbsp tahini
½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
¼ cup water

Directions:
1.) In a large bowl, combine the chopped celery, bell pepper, green onion, parsley, and dill. Set aside.

2.)Combine the sunflower seeds, garlic, tahini and spices in a food Processor and process until smooth.

3.) Add Lime juice and water continue processing until smooth.

4.)Add the pate to the vegetables and mix well.

Serve as a dip or stuffed into romaine lettuce leaf. I topped the ones in the video with fresh sunflower sprouts and fresh tomatoes.
