Cute + Personalized Kids Clothes

Our story began in Mesquite, TX in my dining room. It was the summer of 2010 and my son has just turned one. I ordered a very special embroidered 1st birthday outfit for him from a seller on Etsy and sadly it never arrived. I do not know what happened, but the shop closed with no word on my money or my son’s outfit. I found an embroidery machine on Amazon, ordered it and got to work! I made a few burp cloths and onesies for friends, started taking pics of my work (as bad as it was. HA!) and opened my Etsy shop just a few weeks later! Those early days were hard and frustrating as I was trying to learn a new craft, balance a family and full-time career, but I was determined to turn my new found hobby into a business. I worked every night and every weekend by myself for almost 5 years until I had built up enough clients and sales to finally be able to walk away from a 12-year career in corporate dining. I went full-time with Sunfire Creative in May 2015. Over the next few years, we added multiple commercial embroidery machines, commercial cutting machines, several employees, a lot of new designs and merchandise and were finally able to move the business out of my home in February 2019!

I think what I love most about this business is all of the people I have met along the way. The ones who believed in me when I first started and those whom I’ve just started creating for! I love seeing pictures of your little ones in my creations and I really enjoy mixing and matching fabrics, textures and colors to make something unique just for you! It is my goal to create high quality, custom embroidered clothing for all of your little one’s special occasions.

Brandy is a graduate of Texas Tech University and currently resides in Sunnyvale, TX with her husband, Randy and son, Jack. She enjoys watching baseball and football and relaxing by the pool!

Sunfire Creative is located at 1331 US HWY 80 E, Suite 6 in Mesquite, TX. We hope to open to the public in the Fall 2019!
