250 filmmakers and growing! Join our community today and utilize the Backlot to help develop YOUR projects!
Backlot is a new kind of platform where Christian filmmakers can build their projects in public, connect with collaborators, grow an audience, raise support, and create a real path toward distribution.
You do not need a finished feature film to begin.
You can share a concept, a script read, a short film, a trailer, behind-the-scenes footage, or a completed project. Your audience can follow the journey from the earliest idea all the way to the final release.
As people watch, follow, support, and engage with your project, you build Momentum, That Momentum can unlock earning opportunities, help fund production, demonstrate real audience demand, and make your project eligible for review by ReDiscover TV and others.
Backlot is not another place to upload a trailer and hope somebody finds it.
It is a community built to help Christian filmmakers:
• Find actors, writers, editors, composers, and crew
• Build an audience before their film is released
• Raise support for projects
• Track genuine engagement and audience interest
• Share the creative process in real time
• Pursue a clear pathway toward streaming and distribution
And you do not have to be a filmmaker to join.
Audience members can discover new projects, follow the filmmakers they believe in, support stories while they are being made, and help determine which projects gain momentum.
One subscription gives you access to both ReDiscover Backlot and ReDiscover TV for just $9.99 per month.
Christian filmmakers have spent too long trying to build alone.
It is time to build together.
