Hello Crime Fiction Readers. It’s been a while since I’ve posted a message. Rest assured I’m busy outlining, writing, and producing the forthcoming tomes in the Alternative Investigations crime thriller series. Next up is The Girl with the Deadly Figure which leads Matt Grudge and Leslie Crow to dangers in London and Norway while they protect a young dancer from an insurance scam. Then in Close-Up on Mayhem the detective duo must allow an actress that wants to portray Leslie in a Hollywood movie follow them on a real case. Unfortunately, it’s at a protest in downtown Portland on May Day, and a sniper with a lethal agenda has a lofty view to settle some old scores. I’m also looking at printers to release a hardcover collection of my first four stories, and learning Scrivener to keep writing the new ones. Thanks for reading and being patient.

All the writer could offer to drink was black coffee. The femme fatale found the brew bitter. At least it was hot. She needed to be certain that the writer was well read in the hardboiled genre before entrusting him with chronicling her final story. So she perused his bookshelves. Mickey Spillane, Max Allan Collins, Greg Rucka, Christa Faust, and a collection of Hard Case Crime paperbacks . . . Then she picked up one of his own crime thrillers. The gun was close by though if she didn't like what she read, and decided to plug him.
