***IT'S RELEASE DAY!!*** Picture the scene...
You settle down to rest your aching body from miles of walking through the dystopian wasteland, whilst scavenging you discover an unopened can of Coca Cola from an industrial unit store cupboard and have carried it for 20+ miles trying to find the next town while the daylight allows........you hold your breath for a second from the anticipation as the "pssssttt" ring pull opens and memories come flooding back, the smell, the first taste.........thinking to yourself this "could this be heaven?" you hear the faint buzz in the distance.......a machine?....a disused factory in the last town coughing up its last clouds of smog?.......or................NO!..................WAIT!...........that sounds familiar!?.............the buzz sends you on high alert, surely NO! all insects died in the nuclear explosion surely?.........."I mean I haven't seen any since that day?!"............. the sounds grows louder, drones take to the sky around you..........swarming...........mechanical eyes?........ .....monitoring...........surveying.........................you drop the can and run under the canvas of a disused truck...........the buzzing is getting louder now........."so not the drones?" you think to yourself and then it emerges..........the size of one.....not two.........Its getting bigger!! NO FOUR double decker buses, angry and staggering through the sky, not a wasp that I have ever seen before..............A MACHINE!!!.............. BIGGER and stronger than any natural swarm, its eyes glistening in the low smoggy light.......searching for me.............TERRIFIED....I wait.............
