The world speaks loudly of the hate between men and women, of the hate between right and left, to hate each other because of who we love and what we look like. But what if in our hearts, it’s really all of us against the enemy?
This one single photo from our wedding adequately demonstrates the culmination of love between a faithful man and woman. To find a man of God who is so firm in his faith, who loves me and two little girls that he didn’t even create, is a witness to me of the plan the Lord has for each of us.
The girls and I have been through hell and back repeatedly, but so has my husband. To go through what he’s been through and come out so much better, finding his faith and his footing in this world, to be the man that he is, is beautiful to witness.
If you’re finding it hard not to hate…
If you’re lost, find yourself on your knees in pursuit of the one who died for you, and you will be made whole, and the truth will be given to you.
Then with every in you, stand firm in your faith. Stand firm in what you want out of this life and in who you want to be. Find your purpose and pursue it with all of your heart.
It’s hard to hate when you are in service to others. It’s hard to hate when you’re firm in your purpose.
