Every now and then you sit down with someone and realize you are not just interviewing a guest. You are witnessing a story that took years to become tellable.

Sue Kerver came on The Decision Hour and brought exactly that. Coast Guard veteran, fly-fishing instructor in Montana, author of The Starfish Chronicles. But what stayed with me was not the resume.
