About Adam Bird & Patti Katter

Adam Bird is a 10-year veteran of the Army National Guard, Bird founded Heroes Media Group in July 2015. Heroes Media Group is a broadcasting platform dedicated to providing a voice for community heroes and those who support them. The group provides education, entertainment, and empowerment to active duty, veteran, firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, educators, medical professionals, and clergy. Heroes Media Group is poised to be the voice for all community heroes by bridging the gap between the hero, citizen and the communities they protect, educate, and empower.

Patti Katter is a Philanthropist, Motivational Speaker, Talk Show Host and Writer. With her mandate of “overcoming trials with triumphs.” Patti brings to her role personal experience as a military wife whose husband was injured in combat. Ken served in both the U.S. Marines and Army and while in Iraq, his unit was hit hard, experiencing multiple fatalities and casualties. Patti began volunteering her time to assist military families while her husband was deployed in 2006-2007. When her husband returned home from war, the family began an arduous journey through the military healthcare system as Ken sought treatment for the wounds he suffered in Iraq. In 2010, he medically retired from the US Army. Patti notes, “My life experiences should not be wasted by keeping them to myself. I address such topics as military veteran caregiving, the dangers and warning signs of military su***de, traumatic brain injury, PTSD and other challenges that military veterans and their families face.”

Patti is an Elizabeth Dole Foundation Fellow Alumni Member representing the State of Florida and 5.5 million military veteran caregivers nationwide. She is a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart Ladies Auxiliary and a project manager for the nonprofit organization, Camp Comeback. Her love of writing began when she was a little girl. She can not remember a time in her life where she did not love to write. As a high schooler, Patti spent three years writing for The Flint Journal Sunday edition for teenagers, Word Up. In addition, she is a contributing author of three books from Moody Publishing: “Stories of Faith and Courage from the Homefront,” “Military Wives New Testament” and “Faith Deployed... Again!”

Patti served as a City of Saginaw Police Reservist in Michigan. For the past twelve years, she has been a professional podcaster. She is currently a Talk Show Personality for Heroes Media Group and is the co-host of The Decision Hour. Her podcasts can be listened to at www.TheDecisionHour.com or on any of the big networks such as iHeart Radio, iTunes, Google Play and Spotify.
