I get that some of you are old school. You prefer direct, no BS approaches, youre skeptical of anything that sounds like AI or "modern marketing" either because youre intimidated by it, you dont understand it, or you just think its soulless. The thing is, as uncomfortable as it might be to hear, the world is changing.
You might be getting steady work now, but if your competitors are modernizing, upgrading, and showing up everywhere… how long do you think you can coast before they pass you by?

The process is straightforward, but we add a twist so only HIGHLY qualified people are landing in your inbox:

If youre already running Facebook ads heres what you should know about Messenger vs Lead Form campaigns:
🗨️ Messenger Ads are great for getting a high volume of clicks. They open up a chat right away, which makes it easy for someone to reach out casually.
📝 Lead Form Ads ask people to fill out a few quick questions. Its a bit more effort, but usually means they’re a little more serious about what they need.
Both have their place.

If youre a home service business owner thinking about outsourcing your ads or social media to one of those flashy "AI-powered everything" companies, just be careful.
AI is a powerful tool, clearly, and there are so many things it can do to improve and optimize your business, but be really careful about hiring a company thats going all in on AI with no human touch behind it. I know it sounds cool "Get AI to do everything for you! You just sit back and collect on the results!" I get it, but if youre not strategic about the way you implement AI youll end up with cookie-cutter content, strange looking visuals, robotic captions, and ads that look like ChatGPT wrote them in 4 seconds (because it quite literally did).
The result is going to be a brand that feels "off" and fake. You know when you look at someone's facebook profile and theres just something you cant quite put your finger on, but it just feels off…strange… manufactured, kinda like the cheesy stock photos from the early 2010s.
Maybe some people you get wont be able to put their finger on what exactly looks or feels off about you, but truuuust me human intuition can just sense it. And people dont feel comfortable buying from bots, they want to buy from a person like them who can make them feel heard, understood, and cared for.
So as far as AI goes, use it for what it is: a powerful tool that can optimize certain aspects of your business, but dont let it replace the element that makes your business feel REAL and HUMAN. Like most things, its just about finding the right balance for your business and then hiring a company that aligns with it. And before yall ask… shameless plug, yes I can be that company

This goes out to all the HVAC guys specifically, if youre running an HVAC business and you want people to actually remember you, you gotta give them something theyre gonna remember. Heres 5 creative ways to do that which will help you stand out from the competition:
• Branded Magnetic Thermometers: Give customers a fridge magnet that is a working thermometer branded with your logo and a "call us if its not reading what it should". Stays on their fridge, where they will see it daily. Sort of like an evergreen ad.
• One-liner intro video pinned to your FB page: Doesnt need to be Hollywood. Just a quick clip: “Hey I’m Chris with (Business Name), we do HVAC here in (service area), and we treat people right.” Something along those lines, just putting yourself out these this way already increases the trust factor.
• Neighborhood callouts in your captions: Instead of saying “New system install today,” say “Just finished a system swap in (neighborhood) off (main street).” Now it feels local and real (goes without saying get homeowner consent first)
• Branded AC Emergency Text Line: Set up a dedicated "AC down? Text us now" number with a catchy name like "ChillLine" or whatever sounds catchy to you then slap it on your shirts, signs, mailers, and digital ads. This makes you sound modern and easily accessible.
• Homeowner HVAC Health Report: Leave behind a branded one-page overview, the "HVAC Health Report" with green/yellow/red status bubbles for parts and include a tip or two for them. Makes you look professional, thorough, and highlights the work they may need to think about doing next (with you in mind obviously).

If you dont know your numbers, you dont really know your business.
How many leads came in last month?
How many turned into actual paying jobs?
Which ad or referral source brought in the best ones?
If you can’t answer that clearly youre not in control, youre just reacting.
Marketing isnt a gamble when youre tracking the right data.
Start simple:
- Note down every lead.
- Note where they came from.
- Track what they turned into.
That alone will put you ahead of many of your competitors.
