Say what you will about Dave Ramsey but he is one of the reasons why I was able to get out of debt, understand money and actually save money. I didn't grow up with anyone teaching me how to do it, and no one was teaching it in any school I went to, so I appreciate people like him sharing what they learned. Sometimes you have to take the meat and leave the bones. His principles on money management are solid and have definitely helped me get on track.

Switching out my daily binder for a new wallet. This one is super cute and, of course, pink 😍 I've changed up my envelopes and budgeting set up so I HAD to get a wallet that played nice with the new aesthetic.

This one is a tri-fold and has space for my envelopes and cards. I love the bow on the front, too.

It took me a long time to grasp the idea that I couldn't just "wing it" with my finances. Swiping cards w***y nilly never got me any place good and trusting my intuition about what was in my back account only got me sad and in more debt.

Having (and sticking to) a budget and using cash envelopes have completely changed my life.

I remember feeling so discouraged when I looked at how much debt I had. I used to believe that I would die in debt and never enjoy the freedom of not being chained to a job because all of my money had to go to pay off debt.

Each small debt that I tackled gave me confidence and, before I knew it, I had conquered Goliaths I never thought I would.

My current debt story. It may seem like a lot but there was a time where I had SIX-FIGURE DEBT!

I’ve managed to decrease my debt and save for necessary expenses using cash envelopes.
