Vanderbilt Student Media Alumni The divisions of Vanderbilt Student Communications, Inc.

Vanderbilt Student Communications provides unique leadership and professional opportunities for Vanderbilt students through journalism and media-production experiential education. serve as laboratory, classroom, and professional experience in the absence of an academic journalism or broadcasting department. Over 500 students are involved this academic year (2017 - 2018) in leadership positions or

as contributors. Each year our divisions distribute thousands of copies of student publications, air thousands of hours of music, news, sports, interviews and entertainment on radio and television, stream information and audio to the world via numerous Internet sites, and cover hundreds of hours of campus activities. One could argue that no other student activity on this campus has the capability to regularly reach, positively impact, and serve a greater percentage of the University population than the student media organizations.
