As the size of the parties and the number of people attending became greater, and more elaborate events were hosted, The B***y Bassment was moved to a larger basement belonging to a close friend, “CK.” These parties became well known in the tri-state area for their unique style, use of local deejays, and the pure sense of community that was instilled in the “scene” in the ‘90s. After many successf
ul house parties, Mr. Robert Ritenour, founder of The B***y Bassment, decided he wanted more for this company. At this point, The B***y Bassment evolved into B***y Bassment Records and Entertainment- an Indy record label as well as an event hosting/promotion company. B***y Bassment has hosted over 200 events, including house parties, club events, warehouse shows, and festivals. “My ambition and love for Electronic Dance Music and supporting local artists will never go away,” says Robert. It is this drive that has continued to make B***y Bassment’s events successful year after year.
