Glen Hansard, 1970–2026.
In 2007, by accident, I introduced Once to a room that had no idea what it was about to feel. Glen and Marketa sang before the film even started. I spent the next twenty years chasing that room — five countries, at least ten shows — because once you've stood inside one of his performances, you understand why people keep coming back.
Today Dublin says goodbye to him. I'm still working out how to.
